He is Founder and Managing Director of the Future of Work & Innovation Economy program at the think-tank New America, advancing integrated science, industrial, workforce, and labor policies to renew the middle class. His insights on the workforce, higher education, emerging technologies, and policy have appeared in Forbes, NPR, USA Today, Washington Post, Financial Times, Politico, and Fast Company and on stages at Davos, United Nations, and U.S. National Academies. He has held positions at the World Economic Forum, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, Burning Glass Institute, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
